For the first time in Latin America, Bogotá will host the most important event for film commissions in the world.
The Association of Film Commissions International - AFCI, founded in 1975, selected Bogota as the epicenter of Cineposium 2022, the most important training and networking event for film commissioners and audiovisual industry agents from around the world.
This milestone for Latin America is possible thanks to the work and dedication of a candidacy committee led by the Bogotá Film Commission of the District Institute of the Arts - Idartes, in conjunction with the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, the District Institute of Tourism of Bogotá - IDT, Procolombia, Proimágenes Colombia, the Colombian Film Commission, Invest in Bogota and the Greater Bogota Convention Bureau, entities that joined forces for the realization and presentation of a robust city bid, which managed to capture the event from September 20 to 22, 2022.
The Cineposium, which will be held at the Bogota Chamber of Commerce in Chapinero, will offer two days of an academic agenda that will address topics such as film tourism, eco-sustainability and gender perspective, and a third day of city experience where the accredited participants will be able to learn more about the Colombian capital, which continues to position itself as a film destination capable of hosting events and projects of all magnitudes
If you are part of the audiovisual industry and are interested in getting an accreditation, we invite you to visit the AFCI website.
Soon we will have more information about the academic agenda (panels and speakers), partner hotels, among others.
